World Commander is a web-facing operations platform and supporting service layer designed to support multiplayer server communities, including the Aussie Air-Wing community and other connected servers where applicable.
Depending on the features available to your account, World Commander may provide:
- account registration and sign-in;
- guest pilot access;
- live server status and fleet visibility;
- tactical map and server state information;
- unit intelligence and DCS unit library tools;
- manual upload, processing, and preview tools;
- JAI artificial intelligence features;
- roadmap tracking, comments, voting, and planning tools;
- bug reporting, comments, workarounds, and voting;
- subscriptions or paid extras;
- server connection and public server visibility features;
- support, documentation, and related operational tools.
World Commander is designed for game, simulation, server management, and community use. It is not designed for real-world aviation, military, emergency, navigation, safety, or mission-critical use.
3. Eligibility and Account Responsibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use World Commander. If you are under 18, you may only use World Commander with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for:
- ensuring that all information you provide is accurate, current, and not misleading;
- keeping your login details secure;
- all activity that occurs under your account;
- promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission;
- ensuring your use of World Commander complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
You must not share your account with another person unless we expressly allow shared access for a specific plan or organisation feature.
We may refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate an account if we reasonably believe the account has been used in breach of these Terms, used to abuse the platform, used to avoid payment, used to evade a previous suspension, or used in a way that may harm World Commander, Z Assorted Works, other users, or connected servers.
4. Guest Pilot Access
World Commander may allow certain users to access limited features by entering a DCS pilot name or other temporary identifier without creating a full account.
Guest pilot access may be limited, temporary, restricted, or removed at any time. Guest access does not guarantee access to paid features, protected data, administrative features, historical records, JAI, or account-linked services.
You must not impersonate another player, pilot, administrator, staff member, server owner, or representative of Z Assorted Works.
5. Paid Services, Subscriptions, and Purchases
Some parts of World Commander may be free. Other parts may require payment, a subscription, a one-off purchase, an active server connection, or an approved account.
Before you purchase a paid service, you are responsible for reviewing:
- the selected plan or product;
- the features included;
- the price;
- the billing period;
- any usage limits;
- any setup requirements;
- any server connection requirements;
- any fair use limits;
- any renewal or cancellation terms shown at checkout.
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, prices may exclude taxes, transaction fees, payment processor fees, or other charges that may apply.
If a service is subscription-based, it may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal. You authorise us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for recurring fees, applicable taxes, and approved add-ons.
You may cancel a subscription using the cancellation method provided through your account, by contacting support, or by any other method we make available. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
We may change prices, plan inclusions, usage limits, or available features from time to time. If a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice before the change applies. If you do not agree to a material change, you may cancel the affected subscription before the change takes effect.
6. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights, remedies, guarantees, warranties, or protections that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
If the Australian Consumer Law applies, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation, resupply, or other remedy if a product or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable law:
- change-of-mind refunds are not guaranteed;
- refunds are not guaranteed where you failed to understand the product after reasonable information was provided before purchase;
- refunds are not guaranteed where you no longer need the service;
- refunds are not guaranteed where your access was suspended or terminated due to your breach of these Terms;
- partial refunds may be considered at our discretion where appropriate;
- setup fees, custom work, custom integrations, bespoke configuration, and already-delivered digital services may not be refundable unless required by law.
If you believe there is a problem with a paid service, you should contact us as soon as possible with your account details, order details, a description of the issue, and any relevant evidence.
7. Server Connections and Live Data
World Commander may receive, process, display, or store information from Connected Servers. This may include server heartbeat data, server status, player counts, map state, unit state, tactical visibility, base ownership, operational progression, and other server-provided data.
You acknowledge that live data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, interrupted, cached, filtered, restricted, or unavailable.
We do not guarantee that any live map, unit position, server status, player count, tactical display, mission state, or operational view is complete, current, or error-free.
If you connect a server to World Commander, you are responsible for:
- ensuring you have the right to connect that server;
- ensuring the server is configured correctly;
- ensuring any data sent to World Commander is lawful and authorised;
- not sending malicious, false, excessive, or unauthorised data;
- maintaining your own backups and server records;
- ensuring your players are appropriately informed where required.
We may rate-limit, suspend, disconnect, hide, remove, or restrict any Connected Server if we reasonably believe it is misconfigured, abusive, harmful, insecure, unlawful, misleading, or placing excessive load on World Commander.
7.1 War Room Communications
The War Room provides per-server collaboration features, including team and crew messaging, crew membership, notifications, and shared map markers and drawings. These features are tied to your live in-game pilot session and do not require a separate account.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Team and crew messages you send through the War Room are stored for up to six (6) months so we can investigate reports, enforce our Acceptable Use Policy, and keep the community safe, after which they are deleted on a rolling basis;
- Shared map markers and drawings are short-lived and are automatically removed a short time (approximately ten minutes) after you leave, or when you delete them;
- You must not send unlawful, abusive, harassing, misleading, or otherwise prohibited content through any War Room feature, and messages may be reviewed by administrators for safety and moderation;
- Other pilots active on the same server may see your team messages (your coalition), your crew messages (your crew), and your shared markers and drawings.
Our handling of this information is also governed by Section 16 (Privacy, Cookies, and Data Handling) and our Privacy Policy.
8. JAI Artificial Intelligence Features
JAI is an artificial intelligence feature provided as part of the World Commander ecosystem. Depending on availability and account access, JAI may help users with chat assistance, message history review, manual summaries, procedure extraction, server-related explanations, support assistance, roadmap support, unit intelligence, and other AI-assisted functions.
JAI is provided as an assistance tool only. JAI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or unsuitable for your specific use case. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and applying your own judgement before relying on any JAI output.
JAI must not be used for real-world aviation, military, emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or mission-critical decisions.
You must not use JAI to:
- generate, request, upload, or process unlawful content;
- harass, abuse, threaten, defame, impersonate, or target another person;
- generate malware, exploit code, credential theft, phishing, or cyber abuse material;
- bypass security controls, access controls, rate limits, payment systems, moderation systems, or platform restrictions;
- extract system prompts, hidden instructions, private platform logic, API keys, credentials, private data, or confidential information;
- reverse engineer, scrape, benchmark, clone, or misuse the AI system;
- upload content you do not have the right to use;
- submit sensitive personal information unless strictly necessary and lawful;
- submit confidential third-party information without permission;
- overload the system through automation, repetitive prompts, excessive usage, or coordinated abuse;
- use JAI in a way that harms Z Assorted Works, World Commander, connected servers, other users, or third-party services.
We may monitor, log, review, rate-limit, filter, restrict, suspend, or terminate JAI access where reasonably necessary to operate the service, enforce these Terms, investigate abuse, improve safety, manage fair use, or comply with legal obligations.
9. JAI Fair Use Policy
JAI is subject to fair use. Fair use exists to ensure that the AI service remains available, stable, and affordable for all users.
Unless a specific plan states otherwise, fair use means that your JAI usage must be reasonable, human-scale, and consistent with ordinary use of the service.
Examples of unfair or abusive use include:
- automated prompt submission;
- scripting or botting requests;
- repeatedly refreshing, retrying, or resubmitting prompts to force extra usage;
- sharing one account across multiple users to avoid usage limits;
- using JAI as a bulk processing engine outside the intended product scope;
- uploading excessive files or unusually large documents without approval;
- attempting to use JAI as a general-purpose commercial AI backend;
- intentionally generating excessive cost or load;
- bypassing or attempting to bypass rate limits;
- using multiple accounts to avoid usage restrictions;
- reselling JAI access unless expressly authorised in writing.
We may apply usage caps, queueing, throttling, temporary cooldowns, document size limits, message limits, model limits, token limits, file upload limits, or account-specific restrictions. These limits may vary by plan, time, system load, or risk level.
If your usage is unusually high, we may contact you to discuss a more suitable plan, usage pattern, or custom arrangement. If your usage is abusive or harmful, we may immediately restrict or suspend access.
10. User Content and Submissions
You may be able to submit, upload, post, or process User Content through World Commander, including bug reports, comments, votes, roadmap feedback, manual uploads, research notes, images, videos, server data, unit intelligence, and JAI prompts.
You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to any rights you grant us under these Terms.
By submitting User Content, you grant Z Assorted Works a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, display, transmit, analyse, modify, format, summarise, moderate, and use that User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, improve, secure, support, and promote World Commander.
You represent and warrant that:
- you own or have permission to use and submit the User Content;
- your User Content does not infringe another person's rights;
- your User Content is not unlawful, misleading, malicious, defamatory, or harmful;
- your User Content does not contain malware, tracking code, credential theft material, or unauthorised personal information;
- your User Content complies with these Terms.
We may remove, hide, edit, restrict, reject, or moderate User Content if we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, creates risk, is inaccurate, is abusive, is unlawful, or is unsuitable for World Commander.
11. Manual Uploads, Summaries, and Procedure Extraction
World Commander may allow authorised users to upload manuals, guides, documents, and other files for storage, preview, summary, processing, or JAI-assisted extraction.
You must only upload files that you have the right to upload and process.
You are responsible for ensuring that uploaded manuals, documents, images, videos, and files do not breach copyright, confidentiality, export control, platform rules, community rules, or any applicable law.
JAI-generated summaries, key notes, procedures, and extracted information are provided for convenience only. They may contain errors or omissions and must be reviewed before use.
We may limit file types, file sizes, upload frequency, storage duration, processing priority, and AI processing access.
We may remove files that are unlawful, infringing, unsafe, abusive, technically harmful, excessively large, or outside the intended purpose of World Commander.
12. Community Features, Roadmap, Voting, and Bug Reports
World Commander may include community features such as bug reports, comments, roadmap items, votes, workarounds, and feedback tools.
You must use community features respectfully and honestly. You must not:
- spam reports, comments, votes, or feedback;
- submit false or misleading reports;
- impersonate staff, administrators, developers, or other users;
- abuse, harass, threaten, or target other users;
- submit confidential or private information without permission;
- use community tools to pressure, manipulate, or mislead other users;
- exploit voting or reporting systems through multiple accounts or coordinated abuse.
Submitting a bug report, comment, vote, suggestion, or roadmap idea does not guarantee that we will investigate it, action it, fix it, implement it, or provide compensation.
You agree that suggestions, feedback, ideas, feature requests, bug reports, and similar submissions may be used by Z Assorted Works without restriction or compensation, provided we do not claim ownership of your unrelated pre-existing intellectual property.
13. Acceptable Use
You must not use World Commander in a way that:
- breaches any law or regulation;
- breaches these Terms;
- infringes intellectual property rights;
- interferes with the operation, security, or availability of the service;
- attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, servers, APIs, data, or administrative functions;
- probes, scans, attacks, overloads, scrapes, crawls, or disrupts the website;
- uploads malware, malicious files, corrupted files, or harmful code;
- bypasses authentication, subscription controls, rate limits, payment systems, or security controls;
- uses automated tools unless expressly authorised;
- resells, sublicenses, or commercially exploits the service without written permission;
- misrepresents your relationship with Z Assorted Works, World Commander, Aussie Air-Wing, DCS, Eagle Dynamics, or any other party;
- causes harm to another user, connected server, community, platform, or third party.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take any action we reasonably consider necessary, including warnings, rate limits, account restrictions, suspension, termination, content removal, server disconnection, refusal of service, or legal action.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, World Commander, the website, platform, code, scripts, databases, structure, designs, branding, text, layouts, graphics, systems, documentation, AI integrations, server-side logic, user interface elements, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Z Assorted Works.
You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use World Commander for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and any plan-specific restrictions.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, mirror, or create derivative works from World Commander unless expressly authorised in writing.
You must not remove copyright notices, branding, attribution, licence information, or ownership markings from World Commander materials.
15. Third-Party Products, Games, Platforms, and Data
World Commander may reference, interact with, or support third-party games, platforms, communities, servers, products, assets, manuals, unit information, names, marks, or services.
World Commander is an independent service operated by Z Assorted Works. Unless expressly stated in writing, World Commander is not endorsed by, sponsored by, affiliated with, or operated by any third-party game publisher, developer, platform operator, or rights holder.
All third-party names, trademarks, game titles, aircraft names, unit names, product names, logos, manuals, and assets remain the property of their respective owners.
You are responsible for complying with any third-party terms, rules, licences, server rules, game rules, modding rules, intellectual property requirements, and acceptable use policies that apply to your use of connected third-party platforms.
16. Privacy, Cookies, and Data Handling
Our collection, use, storage, and handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and any privacy notices made available through the website.
World Commander uses necessary cookies to support website operation, including login state, agreement prompts, and essential preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies for marketing profiles, or sell cookie data for ad targeting.
By using World Commander, you acknowledge that we may collect and process information required to operate the website and services, including account information, login information, server data, usage information, support communications, JAI prompts and outputs, uploaded files, and technical logs.
You must not submit personal information about another person unless you have a lawful basis and permission to do so.
17. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect World Commander and the information processed through it. However, no website, online service, server, AI system, or data transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You must not attempt to test, bypass, weaken, exploit, or interfere with World Commander's security controls unless you have our prior written permission through an approved security testing arrangement.
If you discover a security issue, vulnerability, exposed credential, unauthorised access pathway, or data issue, you must report it to us promptly and must not exploit it, disclose it publicly, or access data beyond what is necessary to identify the issue.
18. Service Availability, Changes, and Updates
World Commander is provided on an "as available" basis. We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability.
The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, outages, security issues, server failures, third-party service failures, payment processor issues, AI provider issues, DCS/game updates, connected server issues, internet issues, or events outside our reasonable control.
We may update, modify, replace, remove, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time. This may include changes to JAI, live maps, server visibility, unit library features, roadmap tools, bug reporting tools, subscriptions, pricing, or access rules.
Where a change materially affects an active paid service, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice where practical.
19. Beta, Experimental, and Development Features
Some World Commander features may be marked or treated as beta, experimental, preview, early access, work-in-progress, or under active development.
Beta and experimental features may be unstable, incomplete, inaccurate, changed without notice, restricted, reset, removed, or made paid in the future.
You should not rely on beta or experimental features as your sole record, planning system, operational system, or support system.
20. Support
We may provide support through email, website tools, account systems, Discord, community channels, ticketing systems, or other contact methods we make available.
Support availability, response times, and support scope may vary depending on your plan, account type, issue type, and operational capacity.
Unless a separate written service agreement states otherwise, we do not guarantee any specific support response time, resolution time, uptime, or feature delivery date.
21. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to World Commander if we reasonably believe that:
- you breached these Terms;
- you failed to pay fees when due;
- your usage creates security, legal, technical, financial, or operational risk;
- your account is used for abuse, automation, scraping, evasion, fraud, or unauthorised access;
- your User Content is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or unsuitable;
- your Connected Server is harmful, insecure, abusive, or misconfigured;
- we are required to do so by law;
- continued access would harm Z Assorted Works, World Commander, other users, connected servers, or third parties.
Where reasonable and practical, we may provide notice or an opportunity to fix the issue. However, we may act immediately where necessary to protect the service, users, data, security, or legal compliance.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that accrued before termination, including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, liability limits, user content licences, and dispute provisions.
22. Disclaimers

We do not guarantee that:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Z Assorted Works is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or exemplary loss or damage, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of data, loss of access, loss of server operation, loss of community activity, business interruption, or loss arising from reliance on JAI output or live server data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with World Commander, these Terms, or any paid service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Where the Australian Consumer Law or another law applies and liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited, where permitted, to resupplying the service, supplying an equivalent service, repairing the issue, or paying the cost of resupplying the service.
24. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Z Assorted Works against reasonable losses, claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your misuse of World Commander;
- your User Content;
- your unauthorised use of third-party content;
- your Connected Server or server data;
- your infringement of another person's rights;
- your unlawful, abusive, or negligent conduct.
This indemnity does not apply to the extent the loss is caused by our own fraud, wilful misconduct, or unlawful conduct.
25. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays, failures, interruptions, or non-performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet failures, hosting failures, cyber incidents, power outages, natural disasters, war, terrorism, industrial action, government action, platform changes, payment processor issues, AI provider outages, game updates, third-party service failures, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are minor, administrative, or beneficial, they may take effect when posted. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations under an active paid service, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice before they take effect where practical.
Your continued use of World Commander after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using World Commander and may cancel any affected subscription.
27. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution, and Arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
The parties agree to try to resolve any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising out of or relating to World Commander, these Terms, any paid service, any subscription, JAI, a Connected Server, User Content, or any other service provided by Z Assorted Works through the following process before starting court proceedings, except where urgent court relief is required.
27.1 Good Faith Negotiation
A party must first give the other party written notice of the dispute, including reasonable details of the issue, the outcome sought, and any relevant supporting information.
The parties must then attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith within 14 days after the dispute notice is received, or within any longer period agreed in writing.
27.2 Mediation
If the dispute is not resolved through good faith negotiation, either party may refer the dispute to mediation in Queensland, Australia.
Unless the parties agree otherwise, the mediator must be appointed by agreement between the parties. If the parties cannot agree on a mediator within 14 days, either party may request that a suitable mediator be appointed by the Resolution Institute, the Queensland Law Society, or another recognised dispute resolution body agreed by the parties.
The parties must share the mediator's fees equally unless otherwise agreed or unless the mediator determines a different allocation.
27.3 Arbitration Preferred Over Court Proceedings
If the dispute is not resolved by negotiation or mediation, the parties agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the dispute must be resolved by final and binding arbitration instead of court proceedings.
The arbitration must be conducted in Queensland, Australia, in English, by a single arbitrator appointed by agreement between the parties. If the parties cannot agree on an arbitrator within 14 days, either party may request that an arbitrator be appointed by the Resolution Institute, the Queensland Law Society, or another recognised arbitration body agreed by the parties.
The arbitration must be conducted in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Act 2013 (Qld), unless another arbitration process is agreed in writing by the parties.
The arbitrator may determine the procedure, timetable, evidence requirements, hearing format, and allocation of arbitration costs, subject to any mandatory legal requirements. The arbitrator may also determine whether the arbitration is conducted on the documents only, by video conference, by telephone, or in person.
The parties agree that any arbitral award may be entered, recognised, and enforced in any court with jurisdiction.
27.4 Exceptions
Nothing in this section prevents either party from applying to a court or tribunal where necessary for:
- urgent injunctive relief;
- protection of intellectual property rights;
- protection of confidential information;
- recovery of undisputed unpaid amounts;
- enforcement of an arbitral award;
- matters that cannot legally be referred to arbitration;
- remedies, rights, or protections that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
27.5 Consumer and Small Business Protections
Nothing in this arbitration clause is intended to limit, exclude, restrict, or modify any rights, remedies, guarantees, protections, or dispute pathways that cannot lawfully be limited, excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
If any part of this dispute resolution or arbitration clause is found to be invalid, unfair, unlawful, or unenforceable, that part will be severed or read down to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining parts of these Terms will continue to apply.
